YARRAS HOMESTEAD

"Yarras" is a magnificent historic homestead, surrounded by 520 acres of working farm land. The house was constructed in 1863 but the shearing shed, built in 1825, was formerly a flour mill, with a small cottage, of similar vintage, nearby.

The newly renovated two story homestead featuring a stunning timber staircase sleeps 10 in ultimate luxury. The perfect space to host you and your bridal party in the lead up to and on the wedding night.

Approximate 9kms from Bathurst CBD and only 3 hours from Sydney.

You will get access to a variety of on site locations that make the perfect photography backdrops. These include the sheering shed, grain shed, wrap around veranda, creek not to mention friendly livestock.

When it comes to your reception, you can choose to utilize the unique and historic sheering shed or you can choose to go with something a little different like Tipi Tent that will wow your guests. If traditional elegance is what you are looking for, then go with a stunning marquee that will accommodate all styles.

There is also ample space on site to offer glamping accommodation to your guests plus there is also the option to add on a recovery breakfast for the morning after the wedding before your guests head home.
